Rainbow of Hope Farm, located at 1951 County Line Road, Kingsley, Michigan, is a 501-c-3 non-profit for developmentally disabled adults. The concept was the blending of ideas from Lambs Farm near Chicago, Community Haven in Ottawa County (now closed) and our Board of Director’s Mission Statement. In summary, there is more to life for the disabled if one could tap hidden talents and interests in an environment that emphasizes quality care and meaningful work. Not everyone with a disability is suited for a rural environment. But for those that desire country living, Rainbow of Hope has 200 acres of farmland, woods and ponds and still only 25 miles from Cadillac or Traverse City.
