2027 Care Farming Network National Conference
“This is Care Farming”
Raleigh–Durham–Chapel Hill Region, North Carolina
January 28-30th, 2027
The Care Farming Network is excited to announce our third annual CFN National Conference.
Care farming uses therapeutic farming to promote health, well-being, and belonging. It’s a movement rooted in relationships between people and the land. Until CFN’s first conference in 2025, there had never been a national gathering hosted specifically for the care farming community.
What began as a gathering to bring care farmers together is now an annual tradition. In 2025, more than 170 people joined us in Amherst, Massachusetts for CFN’s inaugural conference. In 2026, over 220 attendees gathered in Gaithersburg, Maryland, trading stories over meals, learning from trailblazers in the care farming field, and leaving with new friendships, collaborations, and ideas.
In 2027, we’re heading to North Carolina’s Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill region for the third Care Farming Network National Conference!
As the only national conference dedicated entirely to care farming, the conference unites care farmers, practitioners, researchers, advocates, educators, and supporters from across the United States, all believing that farms can improve health, provide belonging, and build community.
There’s no substitute for being at the conference together: talking with someone who’s faced the same challenges on their own farm, seeing a new model in action, or just knowing you’re not alone in this work. This sense of shared purpose, learning, and connection is what keeps the conference growing every year.
We can’t wait to see you in North Carolina! Early bird registration opens October 20, 2026!
