Animal-Assisted Intervention Care Farms

Animal-assisted intervention refers to various services that use animals to help people with specific physical or mental health conditions. June’s Monthly Member Gathering highlighted the use of Animal-Assisted Intervention on care farms throughout the country.

Megan Moran, Executive Director at Cultivate Care Farms. Cultivate Care Farms, located in Massachusetts, is a non-profit organization committed to improving the lives of children and adolescents through farm-based therapy and community outreach.

Jessica Simpson + Maggie Jackson from Madison Fields, a Maryland farm that provides therapeutic riding services.
