Watch Us Farm is an innovative private 501c3 nonprofit provider of vocational training opportunities employing high-functioning adults with intellectual disabilities in community integrated settings. Our mission is to create a community where individuals with intellectual disabilities thrive, cultivating a sense of purpose, independence, and social integration.
In our 7000 sq ft greenhouse, our employees grow fresh organic nutrient dense hydroponic lettuce, microgreens, and herbs for sale at farmers markets and local restaurants and for donation to our local food pantries. Our produce is grown in water channels and “clean,” very important to people trying to eat healthy or support immune systems compromised by allergies, medications, or cancer. Food is medicine.
At our Watch Us Weave shop, our employees create beautiful handmade scarves, throws, baby blankets, table runners, placemats, and rugs as well as button-themed holiday and specialty occasion greeting cards for sale in local shops and online.
