The Specialty Crop Farm sits on five rural acres in the southeastern corner of South Dakota. We are a farmstead committed to sowing a meaningful life for special people, of all abilities. We cultivate community through farm experiences and special food.
Katie and Chris Zuraff have a dream to sow a meaningful life for special people of all abilities and cultivate community through farm experiences and special food grown right here on the farm. The dream began with Katie who grew up in a special needs home. Her degree in special education continued her passion for working with people of all abilities. Now that passion is moving to the farm where people with special needs can come work alongside us to learn job skills and life skills through farm events and courses. We pray that we can help to sow a meaningful life for people of all abilities and cultivate a community that is supportive and life-giving for everyone here.
