The Empathy Farm is an aspiring care farm beginning its journey in Spring 2026. The farm currently operates a pilot garden program for the local neurodiverse community, with plans to expand programming and employment pathways as the farm grows.
The garden program operates with the mission of training an underserved population in job skills and social skills by building community on a weekly basis. Participants engage in hands-on gardening while developing practical work experience and strengthening social connections in a supportive environment.
Empathy Farm is also launching a home garden installation and maintenance service designed to support farm programming and create diverse employment opportunities for program participants. Through this work, the farm hopes to eventually employ and bring its crew along to assist with projects across the community.
