L’Arche Noah Sealth is a non-profit organization in Seattle where 3 houses have become home for 10 adults with disabilities who live as peers with people without disabilities. When we are not out adventuring together, you can often find us building community through creativity and art at the Activity Center.
The Activity Center was created in 1985 to provide meaningful and enriching vocational engagement for members of our community. Members of the Activity Center find meaningful work by volunteering in the wider Seattle community and contributing to the L’Arche community by assisting with errands.
Our members express their creativity by making candles, painting, creating fiber arts, and making welcome signs and celebration posters to share with the community and the world!
L’Arche Noah Sealth is a part of L’Arche USA, which is a part of L’Arche International. L’Arche communities in the United States provide homes and workplaces where people with and without intellectual disabilities live and work together as peers; create inclusive communities of faith and friendship; and transform society through relationships that cross social boundaries.
