Harmony Farms, located in Cocoa, Florida, is a 501(c)(3), not-for-profit, volunteer-based organization, providing equine assisted therapy and activities to disabled individuals of all ages, to improve their physical, mental and emotional well being.
Harmony Farms uses therapeutic horseback riding to teach riding skills to people with a diversity of disabilities. Therapeutic riding is beneficial for children and adults who present a wide range of cognitive, physical, and/or emotional conditions. At Harmony Farms, we emphasize ability – not disability.
A member of the Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship International (PATH), Harmony Farms is an approved location for community service and scholarship requirements for local schools. We are an off-campus training site for several university therapy and medical programs.
Responding to the diverse needs of those with disabilities for over 30 years, Harmony Farms, with five Certified Therapeutic Riding Instructors, services 60 riders a week with a waiting list.
