At Frog Hollow Farm, residents and staff participate in individually tailored day programs such as growing vegetables, herbs, and fruits, as well as raising chickens, gathering eggs, and tending other small farm animals. In addition, residents are tasked with general landscape maintenance. Tending to the grounds and applying basic farming techniques are the principal ways in which a farm setting can develop skills and foster social interactions.
The goal of Frog Hollow Farm’s founders is to provide a self-sustaining community with a therapeutic, sanctuary-like setting for each resident. Frog Hollow Farm aspires to provide meaningful work opportunities by developing vocational skills through training and supervision.
