Cultivating Hope Farms provides care farming experiences for friends with autism and other special needs. We have seen the impact working with animals has on those with special needs. They gain confidence, feel included and build relationships with others.
Our vision is planting seeds, growing skills, and cultivating lives.
Planting —> seeds of knowledge
Growing —> skills by learning and working with animals and agriculture
Cultivating —> participants by helping them attain their goals to guide them towards a successful future
Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Therapy
Beyond Behaviors at Cultivating Hope Farms is proud to announce a groundbreaking partnership, becoming the first in the state to offer Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy in a farm setting. This innovative program provides a unique and enriching environment for children with autism by combining evidence-based ABA techniques with the therapeutic and stimulating aspects of nature.
Children participating in the program will have opportunities to engage with animals, explore agriculture, and develop essential life skills through hands-on activities. The farm setting fosters communication, social interactions, and sensory experiences, creating a calming and inclusive atmosphere that promotes growth and belonging.
By integrating therapy with the natural world, this program enhances the effectiveness of ABA, offering families a pioneering approach to support their children’s development in a nurturing, community-centered environment.
