Setting & Tracking Goals with Care Farm Participants

Goal-setting on a care farm looks different from traditional workplaces, where productivity often outweighs personal development. Drawing from their experience working alongside growers with Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities and students who are incarcerated, presenters will share approaches for aligning participant goals with broader farm objectives, tracking progress over time, and communicating expectations. Designed for farm managers, job coaches, and program coordinators, this session provides a clear framework for building individualized growth plans that support participant success regardless of populations served.
