Introduction to Care Farming: Foundations and Program Design

This session introduces the foundations of care farming, including different program models, therapeutic approaches, and strategies for designing a program that fits your goals and community. The conversation will be co-hosted with Suzanne Kapral, a respected advisor in farm-based interventions who provides expert counsel across the United States on the creation, funding, and maintenance of farm-based therapy programs.

From Idea to Action: Resources for Beginning Care Farmers

Launching a care farm can feel overwhelming, but you don’t have to start from scratch. In this session, we’ll explore the tools, templates, networks, and programs available to support new care farmers, including CFN’s mentorship program, online resource library, and peer support opportunities.

Fundraising Strategies for Your Care Farm

Funding is one of the biggest hurdles for aspiring care farmers. In this session, we’ll explore practical fundraising strategies- from grants and individual donors to partnerships and earned income- while highlighting real-world examples of how care farms across the country are sustaining and growing their work.
