Woody founded Red Wiggler in 1996 with the goal of providing meaningful jobs and healthy food for people with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities. Red Wiggler operates the second longest continuously running CSA in the state of MD. As founder, Woody has worn many hats from market farmer and tractor driver to development and fundraising. He brings decades of experience in supporting staff in mission-driven programming, securing funding, and working with boards on long-term sustainability. Woody provides expert peer-to-peer coaching and mentorship to Care Farmers in: nonprofit management, fundraising, board management, Care Farm start-up, and identification of needs.
