Andrea Barnhart

In establishing the Care Farming Network, Andrea connects Care Farms and aspiring Care Farmers nation-wide so that they can learn from one another, and build capacity to create more meaningful work and leadership opportunities for neurodivergent people. Since 2009, Andrea has managed and worked alongside people with I/DD in a Care Farm setting providing job coaching and mentorship.  As Red Wiggler’s Farm Manager, Andrea managed 15 neurodivergent employees, matching their strengths/abilities to jobs needed to operate a successful CSA.  Before farming, Andrea was a non-profit database management consultant for 10 years.
