Care farms often juggle the dual priorities of agricultural production and meaningful participant engagement, and doing both well requires thoughtful systems. This session highlights workflow strategies from experienced care farmers working alongside adults with I/DD and women experiencing homelessness who have developed approaches that keep the farm running while centering inclusion. Learn how to structure the day, match tasks to participants’ abilities, and integrate people meaningfully into the work without sacrificing productivity. Presenters will share practical tips for seasonal planning, communication systems, staff coordination, and building flexible routines.
