The Fellowship Community is a dynamic, work-based, intergenerational community centered on the care of the elderly. Settled on 80 acres of farm and forest, 30 miles north of New York City, the Fellowship Community serves the needs of elder members through the phases of aging, from independent apartment living to more direct care, surrounding and supporting the individual with a more human approach to care.

Approximately 140 elder members, co-workers, and their children live together in the rural setting of a farm, with woods and orchards, located 30 miles northwest of New York City. It is a place for people who are interested in self-development, by working and learning in service to others and caring for the earth.

Everyone here at The Fellowship, young and old, is working and learning to become her or his truest self, to best serve the human community. For over 50 years we have proudly helped hundreds of elderly members enjoy purpose and meaning in the later years of their lives.

Threefold Community Farm  is a cooperative endeavor uniting and expanding the Fellowship Community’s Duryea Farm and the educational and agricultural work of the Pfeiffer Center. It is built on the ideals of Biodynamic care of the land, education, and service to the community through food production.

The farm provides Biodynamically grown vegetables and dairy products to the Fellowship Community, which are used in meals for Members and Co-workers at Hilltop House. Opportunities are available throughout the season for Fellowship Community Members to be involved in processing vegetables and herbs in an interactive and social setting.
