Welcome to Down to Basics, a care farming initiative utilizing the resources of Morgan’s Farm Market (Morgan Farm, LLC) in Marion, NY, and select collaborations, working together to enhance the health, well-being, and belonging of individuals with diverse needs.
Morgan’s Farm Market is housed on a 30 acre parcel containing commercial apple, sweet cherry, and peach orchards, and strawberry and pumpkin fields all for wholesale or retail distribution. Down to Basics has enhanced this same parcel with additions to include a flower and community garden with raised beds, a sensory fort, and a 1/2 mile grass walking trail. The walking trail links to the garden and fort and also leads you to a spider-swing set, a bin maze, and sitting benches for your enjoyment.Visitors to Morgan’s Farm Market are welcome to enjoy the enhanced space during Market hours while recognizing that Morgan Farms is a working agricultural operation. We ask that you use care to prevent reasonably foreseeable risks.
