Kiddy Up Ranch is a nonprofit farm and learning center located in Hudson, Florida, where hearts heal, minds grow, and hands stay busy. We serve children, families, individuals with special needs, and veterans through nature-based education, equine-assisted learning, and agricultural experiences that inspire connection, confidence, and community. Whether you’re here for a day or a season, Kiddy Up Ranch is a place to feel welcome, be seen, and find purpose. Through programs in horsemanship, farm life, adaptive learning, and hands-on skill-building, we cultivate more than crops—we cultivate character, compassion, and lifelong curiosity. Our ranch isn’t just a place to visit. It’s a place to belong.

Our organization strives to provide a sense of ownership and pride from our volunteers to our staff (and yes, our animals too). We work with a diverse population, from those who have experienced trauma to those with disabilities, finding the passion and ability within the individual. We strive to go the extra mile and do the right thing when nobody is looking. We find the ability regardless of whatever the “Dis” is. We have taught leadership regardless of the ability, and teach reading/writing/math through agriculture. Keep our hands in the dirt, and our hearts clean. We accept various forms of scholarship, and we are a 501(c)3 which means we often seek donations or volunteers. We work with various organizations that employ individuals with disabilities or mental health diagnoses, while we provide the work environment.
