Every Friday, CFN highlights the incredible work of a member care farm. We call this our "Featured Farm Friday" and showcase farms on our social media channels and blog. If you want us to feature your farm, email Kate at outreach@carefarmingnetwork.org.
 
Beginning Care Farming Virtual Series: Thursdays in September!

Mark your calendars for Thursdays in September! The Care Farming Network will be hosing a (free) virtual series for beginning care farms. Each week will cover a topic:

  • Want to Start a Care Farm? Where to Begin?
  • What Business Model is Right?
  • Facility and Land Options: What's Right for You?
  • How Do I Fund A Care Farm?

More details, including registration links, will be posted on CFN's event page by early July. Each session will take place on Thursday evening at 6:30 pm EDT.

Come learn about care farming and how Madison Fields' Soapery provides job training opportunities for adults with autism. Bring a dish to share after the tour! If you haven’t visited Madison Fields before, you will be amazed by their picturesque views, plus they have friendly goats!

The Care Farming Tour starts at 2:15 pm on Saturday, July 22nd and is located at Red Wiggler Community Farm in Germantown Maryland. There will also be a farm stand, live music, and more!
