Harmony Farms harnesses the healing power of the horse-human connection by providing transformative, equine-assisted therapy to individuals with physical, cognitive, and emotional challenges.
Equine-assisted therapy enhances quality of life while building confidence, independence, and self-esteem. The horse becomes the “motivator” to improve movement, muscle tone, verbalization and attention span. Riders with physical needs often show improvement in flexibility, balance, muscle strength, circulation & breathing. Riding sessions incorporate equitation with games, exercises and fun!
A member of the Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship International (PATH), Harmony Farms is an approved location for community service and scholarship requirements for local schools. We are an off-campus training site for several university and medical programs.
