The Phoenix Center, a 501(c)(3) non-profit, is committed to meeting the need for high-quality, affordable mental health care for children and families in rural Central Texas. Through our services, children and families are able to access exemplary mental health services and ultimately thrive as individuals and families.
We currently offer family therapy, individual children’s (3 – 18) therapy, and group therapy. We utilize a wide range of modalities including play therapy, sandtray therapy, equine therapy, and horticulture therapy.
We are currently growing our onsite equine center while simultaneously creating our Food Forest. The equine center we’re creating is more than a building—it’s a bridge. It will connect the work of The Phoenix Center with this innovative therapy, making healing more accessible for those who need it most.
