A local, family farm, we offer natural craft meats, prepared Celtic foods, pet and garden items, workshops on animal care & processing,fFarm stays, experiences, and school field trips, and Heritage breeding stock. We are members of the Livestock Conservancy, and we raise Irish Dexter & Scottish Highland cattle, Scottish Soay sheep, Arawapa goats, and Champagne, American & Silver Fox rabbits. Our ruminants are raised as autonomously as possible on pasture, natural grass-fed & finished, with predator-compatible and wetland conservation practices. Heritage breeds require less intervention (chemical and otherwise), have a lighter footprint on the land (esp. that otherwise unfit for agriculture), and offer more nuanced/intense meat flavors.
We are proud members of Veterans IN Farming and frequently host events for veterans through this organization, as well as AgrAbility. In addition, we offer internship opportunities for veterans.
Our farm team is deeply connected to the local recovery community, and we’re beginning to expand our offerings to include nature-based experiences for both adults and children, such as forest bathing and nature journaling. We’re also planning to introduce animal-assisted interventions, building on existing activities like donkey strolls, coffee with goats, and hands-on animal care workshops.
